Alexander Rodchenko

“In order to educate man to a new longing, everyday familiar objects must be shown to him with totally unexpected perspectives and in unexpected situations. New objects should be depicted from different sides in order to provide a complete impression of the object.”

Like the quote and Rodchenko as well. You might be interested in a film I directed called “Rodchenko and the Russian Avant-garde”. Shot in Moscow and using archive footage and an actor it explores many of the issues Rodchenko raised in his photography. See http://www.copernicusfilms.narod.ru for more information

This sounds great Michael, I would be very interested, who was the actor you worked with & how can I see it?
Thanks for stopping by & your comment. – Lisa
